Next Meeting 19 September and Beverley Lit Festival

The weather is turning into autumn and I love it. Sadly, it means we’re not going to see one of our members so often  now that she’s off to Universtiy, but we’ve all got emails. 🙂

We had a great chat and most of us brought things to read and discuss. One of the topics we started on was how writing styles change over time and how each individual expresses themselves uniquely. So, we’re going to run a little project–copy a page (or paragraph or whatever) of a random book to compare with others. Hopefully this will span a variety of genres, so we might be able to make some observations that way.

And to my next topic… The Beverley Literature Festival and Bridlington Poetry Festival.

HUGE thanks to J. for sending this out!
